Monitor Labs information Note: This site is not associated with Monitor Labs and this information is for reference purposes. Monitor Labs is a supplier of environmental monitoring instrumentation for the air monitoring industry. Their ML9800 series gas analyzer product line was considered one of the finest range of air pollution gas analyzers ever built, and has been installed in many facilities across the US. Teledyne Technologies acquired Monitor Labs from Spirent plc in 2002, paying $24 million. Teledyne Monitor Labs operates facilities in Colorado and Pennsylvania. The company is part of Teledyne Instruments. Obtaining spare parts and upgrading of the Monitor Labs 9800 series gas analyzer equipment is becoming more difficult, since following various corporate takeovers and company management changes, Teledyne now prefers the company to promote an alternative brand of instrumentation. However, one known and reliable supplier of all ML9800 spare parts is American Ecotech. That alternative supplier also offers operators of ML9800 gas analyzers a simple motherboard upgrade enabling most older ML9800 gas analyzers to incorporate and benefit from the latest advanced electronics, and thereby extending the useful life of these instruments by many years. Some of the products that were previously supplied by Monitor Labs were: ML9800 ML9810 ozone O3 gas analyzer, ML9810B ML9810A ML9830 Carbon Monoxide CO gas analyzer ML(and same derivations as above) ML9841 Oxides of Nitrogen NOx gas analyzer (and same derivations as above) ML9850 Sulphur Dioxide SO2 gas analyzer (and same derivations as above) All business names and trademarks are owned by their respective owners.
